Burst Skill

Burst Skills are skill effects that are only usable by having the Ether Charge State effect applied to players during battle. This usually requires players using a Monster Gear with the effect during a Unison Attack once, then using the same Monster once again for the second time to be able to use the unlocked Burst Skills.

If the player has two of the same Monster Gear equipped, only the Monster used the first time will have the Burst Skills unlocked. The Monster Gear's icon glows blue, indicating its Burst Skill.

Unison Attack Restrictions[]

The following are Burst Skills' interactions with certain Special Rules and Restrictions in Quests and Battles.

When the Reuse of Unison Attacks is restricted[]

Monster Gear with Burst Skills can still be used once again to perform the Burst Skill despite this restriction. Only after using the Burst Skills will the Monster Gear become restricted and can no longer be used.

When Unison Attacks can be reused after completing a full circle[]

Monster Gear with Burst Skills can still be used once again to perform the Burst Skill despite this restriction. Once the Burst Skills are used up, the player will be required to use the remaining Monster Gear equipped before being able to use the Burst Skill Monster again.
