Cost Point is a resource in the game. Every piece of Gear has an associated Gear Cost, and the Gear that players can equip in each slot is limited by the max Gear Cost of that slot. Players begin with 20 Gear Cost on each slot, and are rewarded Gear Cost and Cost Points upon leveling up, as well as obtaining them from completing certain Quests and Missions. Players are able to freely allot and reassign their cost until Level 90.
When a player has an available Cost Point to allot, the Cost Icon appears at the upper-right side of the Lobby screen (alongside Guild Invitations, Expedition Limimin, Missions, and Present Box). Players are free to choose which slot they will allot their Cost Points to. However, cost allotment cannot be undone without the use of 
Scroll of Insight, 
Tome of Insight, or 
Drink of Enlightenment, once assigned.
