Gear Awakening

Gear Awakening is a feature in Unison League. It is used to further improve Gear through requiring both certain Gear and Items. Some Gear improve past Ultra Rare Rarity when Awakened. Awakening a Weapon Gear usually requires Granvia Sword Crest, while Defense Gear usually requires Granvia Shield Crest as materials to be able to awaken them. These materials can be obtained as rewards from Ranked Guild Battles and Ranked Guild Raids respectively.

Enlightening is similar to Gear Awakening, but focuses more on improving Monster Gear.
