Removal Effects or Removing Effects are effects that can rid the target of certain Status Effects. Some of these are special effects that have the ability to remove effects that can't be removed by normal means of Buff, Debuff, or Ailment removal.

Status Buff Removal[]
Status Buff Removal, Buff Removal, or Remove Status Buffs, is a removal effect.
Some Status Buffs can be removed by certain Abilities and Monster Gear Skills. Some buffs can also be overridden by its corresponding inverse Status Debuff, depending on the amount of buff stacks a target has and the amount of debuff stacks applied to the same target. Note that certain buffs cannot be removed through normal means, and may require specific Abilities and Skills to eliminate them from a target.

Special Status Debuffs can't be removed by Status Debuff Removal, but can be removed by other certain Abilities. Some special debuffs can also be overridden by its corresponding inverse Status Buff, depending on the amount of special debuff stacks a target has and the amount of buff stacks applied to the same target. Some special debuffs can also be reversed by Kismet.

Remove Break[]

Remove Status Ailments [1] or Status Ailment Removal [2], is a removal effect.
Some Status Ailments can be removed by certain Abilities and Monster Gear Skills. Some Defensive Gear Skills like the Null Paralysis skill can nullify the application of status ailments to the target upon the skill's activation. Some Abilities, Class Traits, Shared Traits, and Skills, also raise a target's resistance to ailments, giving a chance to prevent their application to the target.
