When the player or an ally member activates their Unison, a Unison Chance will occur. Certain combinations of Unison can make a Unison Attack occur. During a Unison Chance, all allies with a completely filled Unison gauge can tap the UNISON button on the bottom of the screen to join the Unison. After tapping the UNISON button, players can choose from up to the first five Monster Gear equipped to initiate or assist in the Unison Chance. Each Monster Gear does a different Skill when called for a Unison Attack; these can be found by viewing the Monster Gear's Encyclopedia entry or by viewing them from a player's inventory.

Genesis[]
While a majority of one element will cause that Great Spirit to deliver their Unison Attack, another Unison Attack, known as Genesis occurs when two Monster Gear of each element of two elements are tied during a Unison Chance. This performs two Level 1 powered strikes to all enemies. Each of these strikes will possess the elemental power of their respective Great Spirit.
For instance, if there are two Wind Element monster Gear and two Light Element Monster Gear, Genesis will deal wind and light element damage to every enemy.
Genesis sacrifices all effects of each spirit except for the damage portion, meaning the Great Wind Spirit Veluda will not provide any buff effect for the team and even the Great Spirit Kronos will simply deal non-elemental damage instead of providing buffs for allies.
As this Unison Attack requires at least four Monster Gear, it is not possible for this Unison Attack to become a part of a Support Unison Attack.
Requirements | Unison Attack Level |
---|---|
2 Monsters each of 2 of any Elements | Lv. 1 |
Support Unison Attacks[]
If there are three Monster Gear of one element and two of another, then the main element Unison Attack will be unleashed with the other element instead using its Support Unison Attack. Each Support Unison Attack performs a lesser version of their effect if used in this way. An Element summoned as a Support will not have any visual appearance in the Unison Attack.
Elemental Battle[]
Elemental Battle occurs when both sides of the fight activated their Unison Chances. Elemental Battles only happen in the Battle Colosseum and Guild Battles where players are possibly up against active or CPU players as their enemies. Winning Elemental Battles are one of the decisive factors to securing victory in the match.
The total stats of Monster Gear participating in Unison Chance will be used to determine the side who get to unleash their Unison Attack first. All players defeated during the first Unison Attack will no longer participate in the potential retaliatory Unison Attack.
A draw will happen when the total stats of both sides are equal and no Unison Attack will go off (the Unison Gauge of both parties will still be consumed).
When two or more monsters have the same element, they will reduce the stats of any opposing monster who have that Element as their weakness. The reduction amount will increase with the number of same element monster in Elemental Battle.
See Element#Elemental Relationships for information regarding an Element's strengths and weaknesses.
Element Weakening Effects[]
Element Weakening Effect are effects that only activate during Elemental Battles. These effects further increase the calculations in Element Battles between two elements by certain percentages.

Guides[]
- Players generally avoid Genesis from occurring due to its low damage and it cancelling out benefits the other Unison Attacks can potentially provide.
- It is advisable to bring at least one Time-elemental Monster of any kind as the Haste Unison Attack can help on a multitude of quests with the cost and unison gauge recovery buffs that it can provide.
- Communicating with the team is necessary to be able to coordinate with which Unison Attack to use in certain situations.
- Maxing the +Values of Monster Gear is a key factor to winning Elemental Battles.
- The time of a quest or a match does not stop during a Unison Attack animation. This means that players' cost continue to regenerate, status ailments like poison continue to deal damage, constant heal buffs will keep on healing those affected.
- A Monster Gear's stats can affect the damage of Unison Attacks.
- The damage and healing amount of each monster in a Unison Chance is based on the total amount of the users' ATK and MATK stats.
Notes[]
- Unison League's Facebook page incorrectly states Veluda's Unison Attack to be able to heal all allies. This is false as Heavenly Storm gives ATK and MATK buffs instead.
- Racing Blaster was updated during the third Evangelion Collaboration Event. Its All Stats Increase Buff at Level 1 went from 20%-30%.
- It also formerly came with a Cost Recovery Speed Increase Buff upon executing the attack, that lasted only during the Evangelion Collaboration Event periods only.
- In the Japanese version of the game, Monster Gear from the Evangelion 3rd Collaboration Event can no longer summon Racing Blaster Unison Attack.
